Here’s a little about me…..
My background is in music teaching and music performance, so I know how to pump up and wrangle a crowd and get things going and keep them on track!
I’m relatively new to Melebrating Good Times. I got in to it because it looked like a heap of fun (which it is!), and so I could work with all kinds of people and still be creative in a way that is different to my day job! (I can also talk the leg off a chair, which is great for getting your guests nice and relaxed on the big day!)
I’m organised and flexible. I know not everything runs to plan and I’m really good at making it look like it does!
I’ve got a quick wit and love working the crowd to feel relaxed, have a laugh and a good time.
I also know not everyone loves being the centre of attention, so I am here to put you in the spotlight in a way that takes some of the stress out of being in the spotlight!
On the flipside, if a low-key more relaxed ceremony is your aim we can work together to make it something special just for you!
Either way I know it is about making your day feel special and memorable.

What you need to know...
Getting married is pretty simple…. No it really is, that is why I am here.
There are a few things we take care of in the lead up to the big (or little) day!
The Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM)
This is a legal document that gets filled in to say you are who you are (and a few other things but you get the drift). I check it off with some ID and hold on to it. It needs to be completed no less than a month before the ceremony.
Before the wedding we sign one other doc (they like to make sure you are serious!). Then, at the time of the marriage you both sign the certificates along with two witnesses to say we all heard you say the magic words! (You get to keep a pretty certificate!)
After the ceremony I lodge it all and send it off for you, and in a few weeks your get your official certificate in the post. That way you can use it for the other grown up stuff and things that need to happen! (like name change, and boring stuff like bills!)
Other stuff...
I’m up for anything you need to Melebrate, be it naming ceremony for a little one or re-naming ceremony if you are on the path to re-invention. I can even help you celebrate the life of a loved one or pet, and plan your own end of life celebration, we are here to Melebrate Good Times!

We absolutely LOVED having Mel marry us at our Love Party!
She brought so much joy and humour to our ceremony, our guests adored her and all asked if she could either marry them or be the celebrant at their funeral (haha)...
Mel is super adaptable, and absolute legend of a human, the best energy to be around and loves love!
We would highly recommend her to everyone who wants a tailor made ceremony, especially if you are not so traditional like us ;)
